The Provincial Academicians Collaborative Innovation Center has settled in SIMAND!

 
On September 20, 2019, the Jiangsu Electronic Information Industry Academicians Collaborative Innovation Center (Suzhou), initiated by the Provincial Science and Technology Association and the Provincial Electronic Society, held its inaugural meeting at Jiangsu SIMAND Electric Co., Ltd., officially establishing its base in Xiangcheng—settling in SIMAND!
The plaque awarding ceremony was witnessed by academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences Zheng Youdou, director of the Academic Exchange Center of the Chinese Electronic Society Yu Wenke, vice president of the Provincial Association for Science and Technology Yang Wenxin, director of the Electronic Information Industry Department of Jiangsu Province's Department of Industry and Information Technology Li Jiancheng, secretary general of the Jiangsu Electronic Society Xu Qi, dean of the School of Microelectronics at Nanjing University, deputy secretary general of the Provincial Electronic Society, director of the Academician Work Committee Shi Yi, deputy district governor of Xiangcheng District in Suzhou Cao Yan, director of the Intelligent Manufacturing Department of Suzhou Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology Wu Niankang, along with leaders of the Chao Lake Development Zone and Chengyang Street, and professors and experts from various universities and research institutions.
The establishment of the Electronic Information Industry Academicians Collaborative Innovation Center in Xiangcheng, Suzhou, is a major event for the electronic information industry in Jiangsu Province, and it holds significant and far-reaching implications for promoting technological innovation.
Jin Hongxin, President of the SMT/Assembly Automation Committee of the Jiangsu Electronic Society, President of the SMT Intelligent Manufacturing Committee of the Suzhou Electronic Society, and General Manager of Jiangsu SIMAND Electric Co., Ltd., made a welcoming speech the establishment of the Academician Collaborative Innovation Center.
"Jiangsu SIMAND will spare no effort to cooperate with the work of the Academician Collaborative Innovation Center. For this, SIMAND has set aside 3,000 square meters of space as the base of the Innovation Center, and will move SIMAND's internal independent research and development center and laboratory to the Innovation Center, officially renaming SIMAND's R&D Center to SIMAND Innovation Research Institute, and fully cooperating with the Academician Collaborative Innovation Center to establish working mechanisms. We will establish open laboratories that are free for technical innovation researchers, taking on the role of a technology incubator. We will actively explore and form appropriate modes for talent, technical services, technology transfer, and achievement transformation. We will actively promote the application of innovative achievements in production and operation practices, transform them into real productivity, maximize the utility of innovative achievements, and enhance the technical competitiveness and manufacturing competitiveness of industrial enterprises."
